im sure i have been. One time i remember when my roof collapse when i was a child and there was something urging me to move out the way, I believe it was God telling me to move, then i did, then the celing feel down. If i didnt move, then i would be dead to this day.

When I was Twenty Five, I was doing hotshot jobs in a pickup truck. I was going deliver pipes and wanted to turn left, it was at night and foggy. There was a big 18 wheeler coming behind me, I put my signal lights on and attempted to turn when this truck hit me and drug me fifty feet on the highway. My back side and left side of truck was all crushed. I came out of it with only pulled muscle's. My truck was totaled. Come to find out later the trucker told us that the signal lights were not on.

holy ****! i would have to say the closest i have come to dying is well... 2 times actually

I climbed into my parents car i had to be about 5 and i accidentally kicked the car in gear (it was a standard) and we were getting ready for school... and my mom was warming up the car... i climbed in through the drivers seat and kicked the car in gear and the car rolled into the middle of a busy intersection and i the car was hit by 3 other cars and i ended up with a bruise on my head and the car was totalled.

Again about a year later or so me and my brother were riding our bikes along fennel ave and there is a shitload of stores like a bank, a pet store a decorating store and a Harveys.. i was riding and trying to catch upto my brother and this car was pulling in.. i was coming around the corner of the bank and the car went up over the guard rail... hit me on my bike and i was tossed through the TD Bank windows and i slid with my bike and hit the bank teller... ******* ambulances, cops, everything... and i got a slice on my arm and no stitches.

My father was dying in hospital and was on my way to see him there. I was riding through Devon in England on my motorcycle on a narrow and little used country road the road was bordered with "Devon Hedges" solid dry stone walls filled and covered in soil and plant growth.
I was unbalanced by loose gravel and the bike and I slide into the solid wall at about 20 mph. the impact popped my ribs on both sides of my rib cage and pinned my body by my right hand side.
I had 200 kgs of bike holding me down, winded and with broken ribs on both sides I stopped breathing but remained conscious. I began to panic as I couldn't move or breath. instantly I applied the Heimlich manouver to myself and forced my diaphragm out of spasm before I feinted. the pain was intense and I can clearly remember the feeling and sound of the ribbs as I popped back in in the process.
I remained trapped for an unknown length of time before I had regained enough energy to extract myself from under the bike. As I did this a convoy of five cars passed all dressed in suits as if going to a funeral, none stopped to help but all stared as if to say what the F are you doing here.
I can't say I was near death but I definately felt like it..

Probably when I was climbing on this huge rock, and nearly slipped off and fell like 30-40 feet. My dad grabbed me, thank god!

Head on collision with a 10 wheel dump truck in my sunfire. Totalled the car, i was fine.

Hi, I was like a second away from getting run over by a truck. I ran onto the road to cross it, and was stupid enough to not look properly. I probably would have died if I had been a second later. That was freaky!

WHEN I WAS 23 YEARS OLD I HAD A SHOT GUN BLOW UP IN MY FACE AND SPENT THE NEXT 2 YEARS IN AND OUT OF HOSPITALS.

I WAS TOLD THAT THE SHOT GUN HAD WARPED FROM USING IT ALL DAY AND I GOT "ZERO" FROM THE MANUFACTURER BUT KEEP THE GUN ANYWAY.
