What is the fine/points normally for failing to report a crash?

I was involved in a crash i was arrested for dangerous driving but now its down to failin to report a crash. whats the normal points/fine a court will give. This is my first crime as well if that makes any difference

if nobody is hurt, how that's judged is anyones guess, you don't have to report an accident to the police. if in the UK

Were you arrested at the scene? If so I fail to see how you can be guilty of failing to report an accident when you are under arrest.

If you were arrested later, having left the scene and not reported it then yes, you are guilty of not reporting it.

You have to look at the whole picture. as there is leaving the scene of an accident to be included, if appropriate.

It would depend on where you live and what the complete story is but to answer you last question....yes to some degree it will help since this is your first driving accident..best of luck..
