i drive a mitsubishi eclipse and bought halo headlights and they arent very bright so i am thinking about replacing the bulbs with brighter ones. so i want to know how high i can go, or how bright they can be. i've seen them up to like 13000k, which is probly the brightest and its purple. but the brightest white i've seen is 5900k so what u think? help me out wit the laws too please! i cant find them

I am not sure. I think that you can have the headlights as long as they both work. I dont think there is a certain power output level that you would have to worry about. just like its not a law you have to have highbeam lights. as long as your normal headlights function its ok. If there is a law then you would have to contact the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. or the DOT for more info. |
