What is the legal speed limit for a seven and half ton truck ?

boabt1966
vehicles registered before 2001 with a mam from van up to 7.5 tonnes single carriageways 50 mph, dual carriageways 60 mph, motorways 70 mph, any vehicle after 2001 with a mam over 3.5 tonnes single carriageways 50mph, dual carriageways 56 mph, motorways 56 mmph, as all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes after 2001 must be fitted with a speed limiter with a max speed not exceeding 90 kph, which is to be extended to all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes around 2010/11

If its Uk The legal limit for all vehicles over 7.5 tonne on single carriageway is 40mph!

Dual carriageway is 50mph

Motorways is 60mph, but 99% of these vehicles are fitted with limiters restricted to 52-56mph, depending on the manufacturer!

Rogers is the only correct answer here: For a vehicle with a MAM (maximum absolute mass) of 7.5 tonnes, it's
30mph in built up areas
50mph for single carriageways
60mph for dual carriageways
70mph for motorways.

Over 7.5 tonnes, its;
30mph in built up areas
40mph for single carriageways
50mph for dual carriageways
60mph for motorways.

jean d has the answer but,,,there is always a but,,,,if you are towing a trailer the limits 50mph,,,,unless the trailer has a 60mph sticker when you can travel at that speed ,if it has a 50mph sticker then you not exceed 50mph.
you said 7.5 tonnes i am assuming its not over that weight when different rules apply

All trucks have to follow the normal speed rules
But if it's over 300hp then it's speed limited to 100km/hr max on freeways
