1) I was driving my dad's Blazer (with his permission) when I was 8 or 9 years old and I accidentally hit the gas. He jumped out the way just in time but I went full throttle into my grandma's (his mom) Impala.
2) My dad told me to pull his Explorer into the driveway of one of the houses he was repairing before he became an independent contractor. I ended up backing over the fence, but the homeowner just let it slide. :)
3) Again, at the wheel of my dad's car. He had just his transmission rebuilt in his Dodge Ram and told me to drive the Dynasty to his house and he'd follow me. Well, that 3.3L V6 Dodge Dynamic left him behind and when I pulled into the driveway of the house, I tapped the bumper of his girlfriend's Toyota Cressida (oops). Don't worry nobody was at home and he showed up five minutes later. He still doesn't know.
4) Later that year, I was given a 91 New Yorker Salon and while following too closely to a slow-moving RV I decided to take off some boots that were hurting my feet and change into slippers. Wasn't expecting the RV to so slow down for a left turn and rear-ended the thing. All I saw was a bungee cord holding red and blue Coleman coolers to the RV and a very large spare tire. I assume the people in the RV didn't feel the 3000 pound object hit their rolling house so I kept going. I just replaced the cracked grille and went on with my life.
5) A few months later, one afternoon while driving home from school in the New Yorker, a Mazda truck in front of me slammed on its brakes for no reason, forcing me to do the same, but the five idiots behind me in a Camry couldn't do so in time, and rear-ended me. My Chrysler lost a few pieces of paint but their rice-burner had a scratched bumper, a broken light, and a cracked grille.
6) I backed into a wall one night while parking in front of a movie theatre. Figures, I was in yet another Blazer lol. |
