It will depend on the state you are in. Im in FL, where all toll plazas have photo enforcement cameras.
Here you receive a citation in the mail for the registered owner of the vehicle. First offense is the toll plus $25-100. They can go up for repeat offenses.
Failure to pay, and you cannot renew registration on vehicles or drivers liscense until all fines and costs are paid. |

Golly, was the booth gate open or did you destroy it?
If you did damage, you will certainly be liable for the costs to repair it. The fines are different in every area for breaking a traffic law. Call you local Highway Patrol office or local Traffic Court and ask. They can advise you by the phone call. |

If you mean, run through without paying....
At least in NH it can be ALOT. My roommate didn't pay once, not only was he summoned to he moved to a new house and the DMV notification letter got lost in the mail. So he missed the court date, lost his license, and had to pay a $400 fine for missing court. Call the department of motor vehicles and find out how you can pay the toll booth, even if it's just 50 cents. They won't fine you if you admit what happened and take appropriate action. |

i was coming down to florida from tennessee and they didnt receive debit, and the turnpike was 13.50. i had just moved down and my notification was also lost in the mail, out of sight out of mind, and they suspended my drivers license. I had to pay 303.83 and 60$ just to reinstate my license, PAY THE TOLL PLAZA. its not worth it |
