I don't know if they have such in the US, but here in Malaysia, we have manual transmission buses with turbochargers, and yes, the boost goes off after dark!

I've got a chance to be at the bus driver's seat before, and trust me, even just for a small round, you'll get a new driving experience... and better still, although I'm so used to driving manual, driving manual in a bus is so much different. The clutch requires more strength to push, the gearstick is longer and more interestingly hard to engage as well as the accelerator (organ-type pedal) has a different feel from the normal hanging-type pedal (as well as surprisingly ergonomic).

They're public transportation. Instead of driving, pay a fare and take the bus. You'll spend alot less on a bus pass than on gas. Good way to cut down on pollution, with less vehicles on the road.

umm, duhh.....are you from a different country. buses are transportation for people to get around in. if they don't have vehicles or if they don't feel like driving they use public transportation. and for college students they use buses alot also.

its the best job out i luv it driving the bus i pick up for centres and outings,its an automatic but goes to manual if you want i prefer auto as its easier to manouvre in housing schemes and up farm tracks only bother is suspensions to slow to raise powers great in climbing lanes.
