130km/h on highways
100 km/h on dual carriageway roads
90 km/h on single carriage way roads
80km/h on local roads
50 km/h in cities
Those were the legal limits. Most people drive 220-250km/h on highways, 180km/h on all the other roads and 100-150 in towns at night. I always obey the legal limit though. |

100 km/h here in Victoria, Australia.
Usually 60-80 through smaller towns and 50 around local streets.
We also have laws for "school zones" - special 40km/h zones around schools that automatically become active at 8 - 9:30am and 2:30 - 4pm. |
