What is the top speed of current California Highway Patrol vehicles?

Standard Cruiser, Motorcycle, and fast versions (Camero or Firebird I think)... I can't locate this information on the internet! I think it should be there... Please keep in mind that these vehicles have upgrades so the stock factory editions wouldn't in fact be the top speed.

why are you going to try to out run one? i can tell you that you will lose, you will never out run there radio and they will spin you out and sell your car in an action while you become Bubba's butt puppet.

Don't worry about what top speed they have. They will always behind you and not passing you.

this info is not posted because it may encourage idiots to try and out run the cops. which is easy to do....it is in fact the radio and helicopters that are difficult to outrun. try checking with the manufacterer. ive seen mustangs, camaros, and now dodge daytonas in service..as well as the typical cruisers. as far as motorcycles they use BMW and Harley in the part of texas i live in. if you cant find it outright id suggest you try and reasearch the engine specs and determine an estimated speed that way.

My guess would be alil better than 160mph... Ohio Highway Patrol cars are governed at 160 due to the increase of "tuners" and other highspeed vehicles. The city of Amherst (next city to me) had a dodge charger donated to them just for that purpose... I think their policy is "If you can beat the car, you can beat the ticket"... the reason I say that troopers in California should do alil better than 160 is because, if ohio cruisers can top 160, i'm sure cali cruisers can beat that (alot more highways and faster cars there than in Ohio)

Even the fastest police cars are governed to 155 mph. However, no matter how fast you go you cannot out run the helicopter or police radio.
