What is the vision that judges depth and perception of an environment?

Your depth perception is based on having Binocular vision.
Two eyes see the same image from a slightly different angle. Your brain combines the two images into one.
A person who has lost vision in one eye will have no depth perception.
Depth perception is used to judge acceleration and deceleration rates, distance, etc.

Binocular, That is looking from both the eyes at the same time gives idea about the depth
