What is the worst car accident you have ever been in?

Severals years ago-1985Iwas at at Truck stop/resturant the locals went outthe food was great. I was hanging out had a cup of coffee or two just got off from work. Than Ileft to go home the next day was Thanksgiving Iwas going to my stepdad to eat.Well anyway Igot into my car a 1977 ford mustang and back out on to the road.Iwas heading back home about 40 50 feet and a car was coming from the other direction and he drift on my side he was going about 45 to 50.Ihad no place to go a guardrail on my right side where the truck driver parked there rigs .the left side was partial block by the on coming car. When he hit me it was sometime I never felt before the impact was so quick and the whole thing was so unreal. The driver was highly intoxicated and had feel asleep at the wheel he hit me head on. My head hit the top of windsheild so hard and fast Ifound a piece of hair later on stuck to my shirt.My car was a standard when Iwas driving Ismashed my hand in to the dash. The font end was hit so hard it moved the transmisiion back into the car. Ijumped out and yelling at the other driver whom had a busted radiator and was trying to leave the scene-which he could'nt do.Than Ifelt weird Iwas going into shock or something. Isat down back inside the truck stop until the parimedics arrived and took both of us to the hospital. Ialso hit the steeliing wheel which cut a hole in my lower chin which requied several stitches.My stepdad picked me up around 4:00am went back to his place. sleep about four hours woke up sore as all get out .Ate some turkey with a very sore mouth.The drunk guy said he had insurance to the highway patol but it was expired. My mom helped me get a used car the mustang was totaled completely. At that time Ileaved on my own and needed a car for work.. well thats my story...It was quite an ordeal for me.

When i was working as a driving instructor We were stopped at a traffic light./ A suv rear ended us The entire back of the car was crushed. We both walked away The car was totaled My wife cried when she saw the car

The worst car wreck that I was in was when I hit a tree witha 1966 ford fairlane station wagon. I totaled the car & wound up with a broken right knee.
As a former vol/fire rescue the worst that I've seen was when a young woman hit the side of a low boy trailler ( big earth mover trailer)
she was doa when I got to the accident sean. I was the first one there.
