i'm 17 and just got into an accident. i only dented the other car, but i got a ticket and the cop recommended that i go to traffic court then traffic school. What exactly happens in traffic court?

throw your mercy at the courts. maybe they will go easy on you. Ask for a deal. Maybe you will only do 5-10. Better than life.

Just pay a fine. If you have to go to traffic school it basically just teaches you what may happen, and how to drive defensively.

you wait for ever for the judge to spell out the charges and then you will have to make a plea. then the judge will probably fine you. if you are hard up for money, you can ask for a time in which to pay the fines.
