That is one stat that is not kept. .For the obvious reason - it would spell doom for the manufacturer. .Who would buy a vehicle that has been in more collisions than any other?

ok, you can scoff if you want to, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that red cars get wrecked more than others.

wouldn't surprise me to learn that they are mostly mustang GT's. That car might well could be just a tiny bit too hot for it's demographic.

only the insurance industry can help here as different countries will have different responses. It will also very from area to area with cities having more accidents than towns etc.
Red IS the most noticeable colour and is associated with sports cars and fast driving so will also have a higher number of accidents with a colour like green being among the lowest.
Again we have another point here which is the TYPE of car can be a major factor. eg sports cars versus two door small engined small cars used by ladies and old and slow drivers.
The answer you seek will be among the biggest three manufacture res of motor cars simply because as they have more vehicles on the roads with more drivers clocking up more miles it is logical to assume that one of the big three Will simply have a vehicle which registers as an all time winner of accidents ratios. ( probably Fords but what do I know?)
One of the SAFEST car makes is Volvo though.

It's very difficult to study that and get an accurate answer. For instance there are more Honda Civic's around than any other model of car, because they've been made for a long time and they make a lot of them. More accidents because there are more of them, but that doesn't make it a dangerous car.

Similarly, sportscars get an unfair rap because they are driven by so many arrogant, stupid boys.

So it's very hard to say which car is most dangerous in YOUR hands, because you'd drive a Dodge Neon, BMW Z3 or F250 truck about the same way. I'd have to guess the truck, because they are notorious for rollovers.

I don't know which make of car has the most accidents, but the people who are saying that red cars have the most accidents are wrong. The color car that has the most accidents are black cars because they are the least visible (especially at night) out of all the colors. The thing about red cars started with an unfounded urban myth that drivers of red cars get more speeding tickets. In fact, the more noticable the color, the safer they are. It just makes sense that the brighter colors like red or white will be safer than black or other dark colors.

BMW... according to my perception, most arrogant behaviour on the road comes from BMW and little trucks (shiny ones). Many times I hear of huge accident, it's a BMW (it's only my non-biased observation, because I like BMWs). It should be analyzed if it's true and why.

i would bet my truck that the car make that causes the most accidents is hands down Toyota. (exclude thier trucks and suv's) I drive a lot and when something stupid or dangerous is going on, by the time I get to the problem a Toyota is right there causing it. I began saying this to my wife about 8 months ago and she thought I was nuts. But as time passed she started noticing the same thing. The people interested in these cars are usually terrified to be in them in the first place. They second guess every decision, drive below the speed limit and give oncomming traffic the right of way pretending to be curteous but they're just setting up a crash. Before you respond to this just look around for a couple of weeks, you will see there is something to it. They`re a menace!!! I see a Toyota and I pass it or back off I don`t want to be near em`.
