If you're involved, share your driver's license information, your vehicle's registration information, your vehicle's insurance information, note anything that doesn't match between the other vehicle's registration information and the other vehicle's details, share phone numbers with the other driver. Also, get the names, addresses, and other contact information from any witnesses.
You do not need to obtain the police report; your insurance company will take care of that, if applicable. (Don't waste money on the ridiculously high copy fee; the insurance company pays for that.)
If you're a witness, there's no obligation to stay, but provide your contact information to any driver who asks for it. You might want to take your own notes, in case a court case comes from the matter. Give any statements to the police, if the police are involved. But make sure you review what the officer says you told him, if he doesn't ask you to write a statement. Note any errors in his report of your statement. |

CALL THE POLICE. A police report MUST be filed or the insurance company will not pay for damages. |

witness or involved? If involved you need a police report for your insurance company (which has everything else on it) if witness only when the cop says its ok to leave (actually in both) but get a copy of the police report that is a must. |

CALL POLICE ! That way you are covered if they say "Forget about it", then race home, and call their ins. co. to report a hit and run BY YOU ! ALWAYS CALL THE POLICE, that way you're covered, they also might just take off without having any insurance, ALWAYS CALL POLICE, "Cover thy ASSS" ! |

In ariz you have provide name ,address and insurance policy number and carrier.Otherwise you can be charged with hit and run. |

you always leave your name and address and phone number in case someone needs to ask you any questions about it,,this is the law basically in all states now days anyway but its the right thing to do anyway,,good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas. |
