What the.....f@#!!?

I went to my appointment today and pulled into a busy parking lot....I did not hit any vehicle at all I would have known...I come back out and find a small note saying....I know you hit my van and i have your plate....If I didn't hit anyone then what could possibly happen to me? Could I be convicted of a hit and run if I didn't hit anyone...plz if anyone knows about this your insights thanks!!!

on the front of my car there is a red scrape but that was from a long time ago....what if the van is red??...that would stink

yeah, call up the Pstation and explain that to them, if you didnt hit anyone then you can't get in any trouble...anyone can just put a note on anyones car saying i know you hit me...theres no proof........remember that nite with my van and my neighbor and scratching off paint with rocks...? lol.

Like the guy with the KoL icon says, he doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. Not even a stick figure's leg.

No damage to your car and no witnesses would vindicate you even if he did try to sue.

If you know you didn't do anything wrong, then you're OK. This could be a scam from someone trying to get money from you. I'd contact the police just to be on the safe side.

bring that note right sown to the local police station and explain what happened. this way you take care of it.

Since it occurred in a parking lot, no ticket will be issued by police because a parking lot is considered private property. Therefore you don't have to worry about being charged.

It's up to the other person to prove their claim, and if they are right, it's setteled among the insurance companies. Your insurance company will work just as hard or harder not to pay as the other insurance company will work in an attempt to collect if you're found at fault.

If you know for sure you are not at fault, don't worry about anything that can't be proven.

dont worry about it. if there is no evidence he wont win. i doubt it will even go to court. the police may stop buy and check for damage to your car and do some research, but if your innocent they obviously wont find anything.

Legitimately, the only thing that can happen is that this fool will harrass you.

If you did nothing wrong,and their is no damage to your car you'll be fine.

Remember, any time someone accuses you of something, the burden of proof is on them. Unless they have a lot of witnesses who will lie for them, it's not likely for you to have a problem.

If they report that you hit and run, the police may try to contact you to take a statement.

If you have witnesses, or a provable alibi, you'll be fine.

Most traffic officers don't have a lot of time and too much work to waste time.

From accusation to conviction takes a very long process.
