What to do about a wreck...please help

I had a wreck today and the guy I backed into does not speak English so I have run into a problem cause I dont speak spanish. I am not wanting him to turn his in on insurance. I am wanting to pay him for it without insurance involved. Anyways I got a ticket too but I am not wanting it to go on my record so what do I need to do about that and also how do I go about getting my car fixed? Please help

I filed a police report if you would just read before you go to criticizing people and No Im not going through insurance Ive had a wreck before and never went through it and Ive went through it with another one and Im not going through it agian. It worked just find with the one I didnt go through insurance with

For the ticket you will need to go to court and see if the judge will allow you to take a defensive driving course and if so then you will need to stay clean for 6 months and that will take care of the ticket.

As for the car getting fixed if you donâ€™t want to get the insurance involved then both your car as well as the cars repairs will have to come out of your pocket......

I know you dont want to file the insurance, but it really is the best way to go, this way you dont have to deal with anything and neither does the other guy. Thats why you pay for insurance every month...to take care of accidents such as this. Is there any other reason you dont want to get involved with the insurance other than you dont want it on your record? 1 wreck usually doesnt get held against you as far as prices getting jacked up.....Also, since you already filed the police report, I dont think you can stop the spanish guy from making a claim, because he has all of your information on the police report. If you know anyone that speaks spanish, maybe you can have them traslate if you were to give him a call...his contact info should be on the police report also. But you have to act fast, bc once he files, they cant "un-do" it Im sure. Good Luck honey!

I think once you file a police report, it's automatically public record and the insurance companies can pick it up. When you appear in court to pay your tickect, tell them you want to take defensive driving and ask for differred adjudication, that way if don't get any tickets in that county for 6 months, the ticket will be removed from your license. I'd have someone who speaks spanish talk with the other driver to see what he wants, so you can get an idea what he is going to do. Hopefully he doesn't want to sue.

If you backed into him how much damage occurred,maybe it is not worth the bother,let him make the first move and see what he wants,If it was your fault you might have to fix it yourself and just let it go,If he decides to file you might have to get the insurance involved.
