It's snowing a lot right now here(NY), and my dad just got back home.
He told me that his car couldn't climb up a hill that wasn't even steep
or anything, and the car isn't really old either(2006 Hyundai Sonata
around 60,000 miles mileage).
Does anybody know why something like that is happening and
what needs to be done to fix the problem? Thanx and have a

probably need proper snow tires,if there is a lot of wet snow they will help with traction |

Find another way or get some snow tires. |

Ask your dad when was the last time any maintenance was done on this vehicle because aside from chains it could be something as simple as a bad fuel filter.. |

If its snowing heavily then the car would need 'snow chains'. They don't cost that much and you need to carry them in the boot of your car during winter. The car will climb up the hill when the snow melts and the wheels can grip the metal surface. |

well,suggest to let some air out of the tires for now,to get better traction,but do not travel too fast nor too far with the low tires.suggest that if it is a rear wheel drive,put some weight in the trunk. |
