i havent had one but i have seen other peoples road traffic accidents because for my job i have to go out to clean them up the worst one in my career was two lorrys on one side of the carriage way crossed over to the other side hitting a van and another lorry 3people died and spuds(potatos) all over the place

My last day of high school - 2005.

My dad was driving our 1999 Ford F-150 Supercab on our way to dinner. It was about 5 o'clock on a sunny day. We were going about 30mph on the road to the freeway, when a woman driving a mid 90's Pontiac Grand Am crossed the centre line and hit us doing 55mph (20 over the speed limit).

Me and my dad ended up with cuts and bruises. My sister had suffered a head injury from hitting the back of the front seat. My step-mom ended up with 7 broken ribs, partially collapsed lung, and extensive brusing.

Obviously, the truck was totalled, and the lady that hit us ended up being MedFlighted out of there. Afterwards she ended up going to prison for reckless endangerment, driving without insurance, driving without a seatbelt, and driving under the influence of drugs.

three weeks after buying a 17,000 pound honda civic type-r i managed to hit a tree...

the only part of the car undamaged was the boot..

i was ok just a few bruises and aches...

The one that almost took my life and caused me to suffer for the rest of it... I will not start telling U all the problems. But I will tell you I was a massive alcoholic and was hit by a drunk driver . I got help before I ever took away from somebody Else's life quality like that. I blame it on the state , because there is a bar on every corner and the government gives little care to those without insurance, I have to pay a mint in office calls to get the medications I need to not hang myself in pain.

I was driving one of the work trucks with a trailer full of landscaping equipment, lady in front of me jammed on the brakes I couldn't stop quick enough. Hit the back of her SUV pushed the whole back panel in and blew out the window her SUV got trashed, the truck came out of it with a small bump in the hood right in the center it didn't even bend, good thing for Chevy trucks it was and still is a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 can't even tell it was in an accident except for the little bump in the very bottom of the hood. I pray never again. Good Luck

I died at the accident site military PU truck
they lost me in the hospital
But I am still here

I have ellipse grand mal under some what control
loss of hearing in left ear with titiness ringing in ears
crushed rib cage
that grew back kind of strange
Broken lower left front rib bone that looks kind of ???
Total amnesia from the time of the accident back
I had to re learn how to read and write.
That's why I am here doing this

I hope the 3's a charm thing doesn't have any real truth to it

head on, a citroen BX pulled out onto the main road and stopped, facing me ! When he woke up in hospital he told the police "sorry, i was still sleep that morning". needless the say the police procecuted.

About 50 mph but the BX was unrecognisable. My SAAB wasn't drivable but at least you coudl tell it was a car. It pushed his car completely out of the way.

Since then, vowed never to have a small car.

Off-road I've rolled a rally car - about 2 hours after fitting a new engine, oh well.

My most FRUSTRATING crash was when a woman pulled across me to leave a motorway - left it far too late, spun my car. Swapped details on site , seemed ok. That evening she phoned me and said" I've spoken with my husband and decided i will lie about the crash and say you hit me" nice woman eh ?

It wasnt me but my sister got hit by a car while she was riding her bike from work one day.

I have been driving 50 years...One and only accident when st oped at stop sign wait ting to cross highway going west, when car approaching a stop sign from the other side of highway coming toward me going east, did not stop and ran the stop sign hitting a car going north, and both cars glancing off each other and both cars hitting me. Driver heading west that ran stop sign was drunk. passenger in car heading north sub stained a cut forehead.

Driving a VW golf on a country road in South Africa, fell asleep at the wheel, left the road, hit a major wire fence, flipped the car end over end. Resulting in a cracked breast bone, broken neck, blackened eye.

I have had numerous crashes in my life. I rolled a SUV and landed in a creek hitting a tree. I hit a deer on my motorcycle and nearly broke my hip. I've been fortunate and walked away(maybe limped) from all!!

Have never been in an accident but the wost one i ever saw i was on I70 heading west bound about 80 miles outside of Denver, CO in my Corolla and was following a Tractor Trailer going about 95mph when he lost control and fishtailed takeing out 3 cars in the right lane... it pealed the tops off of the 3 cars like someone was opening a can of catfood with a tab... unfortunatly it killed everyone in them 3 cars once of which was my cousin. I didnt even know she was on the road that day..... Since then I have never NEVER gone slow enough on a road that a tractor trailer has had to pass me!

1972 driving MK1 Escort in town centre, stop start at about 2mph. Girl in a mini skirt bent over a push chair-------- I hit the car in front !!!!!!!!!! Nothing more to say except thank god we were at crawling speed.

I was on my motorbike in this tunnel in Paris in '97, a bit of a smash ensued...

In 1972, I loss control on a wet road and hit a telephone pole and put the engine in the front seat and spent the next three days in comma.
