What would you say in court to deny guilty for 'making a right turn within non-allowable time' per road sign?

It is a road sign showing "no right turn allowed from Mon. to Fri 8am to 6pm". Besides the road sign, there is a Stop sign, too.
You have to go along to the end of an avenue before you come to this Stop sign and road sign things.
It is a two-lane avenue, with left arrow and right arrow separately and individually laid on the floor by the end of the avenue.
In other words, you need to choose to go left lane or to go right lane first, before you come to the avenue end, then you need to stop your vehicles by the end of the avenue because of the Stop sign, then finally proceed to turn right or turn left (depends on which lane you have chosen before)
I choose to go turn right at 5:46pm, then there is a police waiting for me after I turn right, and give me a ticket. I'm going to appeal. Guys, what would you say in court if you have my situations??

You cant turn between 8am to 6pm from Mon. to Fri and you made the turn at 5:46pm....so ask for a defensive driving course because this was your fault. |

You sure typed out a lot of irrelevant detail. You could have just said, "I'm guilty but want to plead not guilty".
A plea of "Not Guilty" is not perjury, it's your right as an American Citizen (I'm assuming you are, please correct me if I'm wrong).
If I wanted to plead 'not guilty' this is what I would say in court: "Not Guilty"
Remember, you are innocent until proven guilty.
If the officer doesn't show up, say: "If the officer were here, I'm sure he'd tell you that the time shown on the ticket is incorrect." That's an opinion -- an opinion can't be perjury either.
If the officer does show up, plead guilty and request deferred adjudication. |
