Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways are also well known for good comfort and service. IIRC Singapore was voted best by some airline magazine recently. |

Generally the top three airlines tend to be Emirates, Qantas and Singapore Airlines. This is in offical polls and every year, these three are always up in the top five.
So probably Emirates is the best of all due to their excellent service. |

The best one is the one that gets you where you need to go!
I've flown a few, British Airways are excellent. |

Delta is the only one I use. Maybe it's not #1, but it's good enough for me. The worst is AirTran. They don't know the concept of customer service. |

Your pocket book will always determine how and with whom you fly. If you are concerned with quality of service, you should go on line and try to get some feedback from other travelers or at least ask your traveling acquaintances. Are you traveling domestically or internationally? Not all airlines will meet your needs so do your research. If you have the money, why not fly first class, but do you need to?
