Not sure how big of tire...but i know there is a limit on how high off the ground it can be....i ran into a guy at a walmart parking lot who had 52 inch tires on a ford f250...i could stand under his fender straight up without slouching lol it was crazy
For a jeep i wouldn't go much bigger than 44's or you'll have a lot of problems with stabilization. I have a 96 jeep cherokee sitting on 36's and its a rough ride as it is |

It depends on the laws where you live, I'd go to the local court house and ask around there. also it varies if you have a lift on your jeep.
Just know that there IS a law on tire size, I guarentee you that.
Common laws set the max. width of the vehicle with tires(8.5'), height of the lights(43"), max height of the vehicle(13.5'), miata bar height. ect ect |

you can put monster truck tires on..there is no rule on how big of a tires you can put on your car

it matters where you live and what type of tires they are, your also going to need a lift if you want them to the maximum size, but your going to be looking at a price around $10,000.00 for all of that...if you get radial tires (used for both on and offroad) then i'm pretty positive they are street legal no matter how big they are...i'm planning on getting my jeep raised soon and get bigger tires, if you want to start small then i would recommend getting a suspension lift from zone offroad products, they are relatively new and offer great prices, and i've heard that their products have great quality and are just as good as the more expensive brands...good luck |

I wouldn't change the diameter of the wheels (tyres + rims). That may cause you legal problems, as well as make your speedometer indicate incorret speed, not to mention that the tyres may touch other parts of the car if they're too big. |
