Whats the fastest speed that you have ever driven a passenger car on a roadway in the US?

Went 181 mph in my Corvette. Could have gone faster but you run out of road fast at that speed. Been even faster on my supersport bike but thats not in your question.

I drove my ford torino 135 when I had 2 front tires blowout at the same time which I had just bought 30 minutes before. ripped off the tires to the wheels which allowed me to slow to a stop and get more sense. Didn't know they were retreds but it was a long time ago and deep down in Texas. I'm alot older now and a little smarter LOL.

I work as a volly firefighter. I was responding to a call for a car fire, child traped. Openfreeway at three in the AM i was the only car I could see. I activated my lights and siren. I looked at the speedometer and saw 105. next time i looked I was going 0.. I broke the spedometer cable so i cant tell you how fast I ended up going but it was alot faster than 105.... just FYI the car was not on fire and there was no one traped. It was broken down on the side of the the road overheating. some passerby on ther cell called 911 and "oversted" the emergency. (he got a $500 fine)

I was cruising along at 85 and not being the speed demon type, I was slowing down. The state trooper clocked me at 75 in a 55. I got a ticket so now I never go more than 10 miles over the posted limits.

I did 105 in my VW on a desert road in New Mexico. I didn't get into an accident or get a ticket, but it was still a pretty stupid thing to do.

I seen a video of a motorcycle reaching 200 mph on his speedometer with a camera mounted on his head. Exhilerating even if I know I am just watching it.

The guy was crazy because it was on a 2-laner and you can see cars zoom past him. One mistake could've been instant death.
