Whats the proper way to reverse in a car?

i have my drivers license road test today and i was wondering what the proper way to reverse is?

is it look in side and middle mirror or look over shoulder through the back window of the car?

i just wana know the right way so i dont mess up,

When backing up, you need to constantly be moving your head! Checking the side views, then the rear view, checking the front end of your car, make sure no one has appeared there.. and turning around and looking out your back window!

The examiners number one concern is that you are LOOKING to make sure you're not gonna hit someone or something!!!

look out of the back mirror...unless your doin a 3 point, then look at of the opposite, back window

The way I've been taught was to look at your side view mirrors first to make sure nothing is on the sides of the car then look at the rear view. If it's clear then look over your shoulder when your ready to backup.
Don't start backing up when you looking at your mirrors though; just when your looking over your shoulder.

From what I have read while taking your test, you should keep both hands on the wheel and use your mirrors...
