No, I think it's legal to reverse and not signal. When you reverse, your tail lights will turn on and the person behind you will know that you are reversing.
If you signal left or right, the person that is coming towards you might think that you are trying to make a "forward" right or left turn, especially when they are farther away and can't see if you are going forward or backward from the front.
When reversing, always do it slowly, especially when you know there are cars behind you. This way, the person will honk at you if your car is about to hit them and you will stop your reversing immediately of course. |
