Simply put, never. Take the first college class on thermodynamics, chemistry, and physics (as almost all engineering majors do) and you'll see that the car that runs on water is a big lie. |

Not any time soon. A hydrogen powered engine would be costly to make. Sure the resources are there, but the issue is the costs that it takes to make such a component for a vehicle. Its costly enough making hybrid cars. Also there is the fact that many wouldn't purchase these vehicles because of the high price tag. Car companies would offer the highest price tag for such a vehicle because of how desirable it would seem. The high cost would be a result of the cost of labor, and the cost of materials. Basically the issue I am pointing out is that it would be too costly in the long run even for consumers. |
