I'm anxious to take a collector car out of storage and I don't want to drive it in the salt. When do they usually stop salting the roads? Middle or end of March?

it varies. i usually wait to get my 88 porsche 911 out until after the weather tells me its all right. let me explain. they usually stop salting in mid march, but the salt is all still on the road, so I always wait for at least one good rain before getting the car out, so that the water can wash any salt, and the incredible risk of rust, away. |
