I have been driving for only a year, and it sometimes distracts me. I prefer either music or silence. For some real actual "chat" distracts me. Perhaps its due to having to pay attention to the conversation, where as with music there is no real need to focus on the words being sung. And silence is always nice.

No way , even when co passengers are fighting with me or with themselves , then also no way .

depends who is the passenger. generally i feel myself more alert with a passenger talking to me. if i find it distracting in any way, i would let them know.
