I am 26 wks pregnant when should I stop driving or should I stop at all?

only you can answer this. If you fit behind the wheel and are comfortable then drive. once the steering wheel touches your belly or you don't feel comfortable don't drive. If you have an accident the steering wheel and air bag could cause injury to your unborn baby. More then if you were a passenger. I don't think i drove after 7 months. I had to rely on someone to drive me to my dr visits. and at the end there are every week. i think some i had were 2 time a week cause i went over due. You cant be too cautious. If you are asking me for real advice i would stop now. Best wishes to the both of you |

Don't see why you should,it`s like saying i will stop cooking,cleaning no girl you keep driving till you or doc say stop
so drive steady and have a happy baby. |

No reason to stop until your water breaks. And even then, if you have an automatic, and a short trip to the hospital, or the midwife's, go for it, girl!
Unless pregnancy causes blindness or other infirmity. |

Since when has pregnancy been an illness. If you feel comfortable enough and happy enough to drive why stop. |

when you cannot perform your driving abilities comfortably and safely....in this case you are looking out for three people #1 yourself, #2 your child and #3 the other drivers....be careful how you put your seatbelt on |

your preg not sick do what ever you want you can work jog swim excersize and even still have intimate relaitionships with your hubby clear untill you give birth only exeption is if your having complations thain follow the docs recomendations |

My wife drove as needed, but quit within the last 2 weeks or so.
If I couldn't drive, she didn't go.

if you can still drive then why not carry on (if your bump fits comfortably behind the steering wheel. I drove myself to the hospital 2yrs ago whilst in labour and then back home again having confirmed i was 3cm dilated!! I didnt tell the midwife i was driving though. My husband was with me but he only rides a mbike and provisional car licence so it was the easiest option for me to drive. There were no problems and i wasnt breaking the law by doing so. |

They say about 2-4 weeks before you are due. I didn't stop driving though. Did not see the point. |
