When was your last auto accident?

last year, in a safeway parking lot. I was stopped at a stop sign, waiting for a parking space, and a woman pulled out of a parking spot next to me and right into my drivers side door...with me in it, then she tried to blame it on me, but some people walking to their car told her i was sitting there for a minute or two before she ever started to back up, and asked if i wanted them to be witnesses. The woman conceded and claimed fault for the accident.

May 27, 2005.

A lady who was under the influence of cocaine crossed the center line while speeding and hit us head on. We were all sent to the hospital with injuries. Me, my dad, and my sister were all released that night/early morning with cuts, scratches, bruises, and my sister with a head injury. My step-mom was released 2 weeks later with 7 broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung.

Obviously the lady that hit us was charged with DUI of Cocaine, Reckless Driving, Driving Without Insurance, Driving without a seatbelt, and violating probation. She got 11 months in prison and 27 months extended probation (that's the maximum sentence she could serve in accordance with our county law)

Yeah, that was a great last day of my senior year of High School.

I am 41 only had one accident . I was hit by a drunk driver. Injured three of us. He ran, we were taken to the hospital. two cars totaled by a horrendous crash, lucky to be alive I was 21 at the time. defensive driving is a big deal, always pay attention dont overdrive the traffic.

feb 18 2006 my fault for driving under the influence. i lost control while avoiding a dog on a rainy night.

I've only had one accident where there was an "at fault" person. In that case it was me, but I wasn't ticketed. That was about 12 years ago.

My last accident was about 18 months ago. I was driving down a back road in the middle of the night and swerved to avoid a sheep and wound up in a ditch. The only damage was to my car and no one was hurt.

It was quite some time ago, and I was in my friends car. There was 5 of us going out on a girls day out, and one of the girls, my best friend at the time, had just had a baby girl, and decided that she would bring her along for the day. As i said there was five of us, and no place for the car seat to go. I offered to not go so the restraint could be fitted, but I was pushed into the middle of the backseat as we picked up the last of the girls, and off we went, with the baby being nursed by it's mother in the frontseat. About 2 miles down the road, the driver was looking for her cigarettes, and failed to see that the lights had changed to red at the intersection. We screamed, but it was too late and we slammed into the back of the truck that had stopped. I was the only one wearing a seatbelt. The driver was the only one to have an airbag, and she escaped with some injuries, but she was lucky to have that airbag. The two girls in the back seat next to me received broken ribs, and facial fractures etc as they slammed into the back of the front seats. The one seated behind the driver was lucky not to kill the driver. Sadly my friend and her baby died as they were ejected through the windscreen. The baby was decapitated as she was ejected, and my friend was dead on the hood of the car. It was a sad day indeed. I still see them going through the windscreen, and I will scream at mothers whilst driving who have unrestrained kids in the car. It was the last auto accident that I was in, and I hope that it stays that way

Sept. 2006, first and only wreck in the 7 years I've been driving. There were 4 cars involved, including mine. I was the 2nd car from the front and was not at fault. The police came and ticketed the guy in the last car for "failure to control vehicle" and tailgating (called something else on the report). That whole thing was a nightmare. My insurance company picked up most of the tab for the rental car (thank god). About 2 weeks after the wreck I got a call from the lawyer for the guy who was at fault to get a statement from me. What really angered me is when she started twisting my story around hoping I would slip up and agree to a story that would put me at fault. I can't help but wonder if she did that because I was the only white person involved and also the only one with a new car ('06 Corolla, 6 months old at the time).

4 cars in a row. I was the third one. This old man just ram into us as we are on a stop sign. He got the ticket for all of us. Scared the **** out of me! Sort of. Last february.

When I was in college, I pulled into the spot and then pulled up to another spot, this girl parked her truck behind me and as I was getting out of the car, I noticed her vehicle rolling toward mine she had apparently left it in gear and it rolled into my car. It was her fault, but it was so minor that I decided not to report it.

5 years ago...It finally came off my record last week. I was at fault (slightly brushed their passenger door when I was changing lanes and didn't see them). Tickets are not usually issued for accidents, unless the person(s) involved are speeding or drunk or something.
