Drop further back, and don't plan on passing if you can't see. Be patient, take a few minutes longer to get where you are going, you will live longer for it. Last year I was driving in rain on an undivided highway, and a large truck was coming the other way, with a spray behind him. I couldn't see behind him, and a little voice told me to hit the shoulder. I did, and a car behind the truck, who obviously couldn't see me if I couldn't see him, pulled out to pass. If I hadn't taken the precaution of hitting the shoulder, the idiot would have hit me head on. |
