Think about what you just asked. Stop means stop. Pure and simple. There is no such thing as a "rolling stop". You either stopped your you didn't. If you don't stop, you're subject to a ticket if observed.

Can someone be "sort of" pregnant ? If not, then you can't be "stopping" if you are still "rolling", right? "STOP" means the car is not moving, wheels are not turning. "Rolling" means the car is in motion and the wheels are still turning. |

As a cop, I can tell you that a rolling stop is illegal. Your tires on your vehicle must cease all motion when YOU approach the stop sign. |

No it isn't a stop, but you can usually flirt your way out of a ticket. If that doesn't work you can yell at him, both have worked for me. pulled over 50 to 60 times & only 2 tickets. Yep it's great. If in an accident, cry, I have gotten out of 2 tickets w/ that one. Trust me I hit a cop car & got out of it. Of course that was when I was young. |
