Hands down, a drunk.
The number of accidents involving alcohol are staggering, just watch the news.
Young drivers are actually pretty safe, they have just finished driver education, are timid as a rule, and have great reaction times. The problem with young drivers is lack of experience, not the mechanical impairment of faculties caused by alcohol. Give me a kid to drive over a drunk anytime, I'll live alot longer. |

Plenty of people are killed each year by both segments. The loss of a child is far more tragic. About 7,000 a year won't be driving home. Education has to be the answer. Advanced car control school correcting a slide learning the limits on a safe race track or large parking lot. Graduated licenses 6 months parents only 6 months solo with out speeding or tickets (moving violations) During which time high performance driving school or a car control class is attended and passed.
Driving intoxicated There are those 5% that just drink and drive and 1 to 2% crash out damaging property and lifes. I don't see soberity check points like I used to... Probably some legal reason checking every driver on a given road is entraptment. Of course I stay at home late nights anymore. |

A drunk driver by far. Just because a kid isn't old enough to get a driver's license doesn't necessarilly mean they're not able to drive. Case in point...myself. I was able to drive a car...and do it well... at the age of 14 but couldn't legally drive until 16. |

maybe drunk drive because they doesnt really know what there doing ..but an under age driver does know what there doing so it depends if the underage drive knows what it's doing then i think a drunk driver is more worse |

I would say a drunk driver, just because they are impared and don't have the proper judgement that an underaged driver could possibly have. |

A drunk driver because an under age driver is driving because he has been taught how to drive a car and drives perfectly. The difference between a driver and an under age driver that he can go to prison and a driver with a license cant. A drunk driver is not even conscious and he can run his car over anybody and can even be the cause of a deadly accident. |
