Which one goes first?

Okay, so I was driving home from work this morning, half an hour ago and I was going to turn onto a certain road.
Tell me, who has the rightaway? Me, who was turning right on green, or the guy coming from the other way turning left on green? HMMMMMMM hard one huh? He even honked at me when HE almost ran into ME while turning! OH, and later down the road he was turning left again and tried to say something (well mouth something) and his windows were so tinted I couldn't see anything. What a tardo magardo.
Additional Details
We were turning onto a one-lane road. It was basically a 3way with a stop light. We were both on the main road facing each other and wanted to turn onto the second road.

You have the right of way. He would only have the right of way if he had a green arrow (in that case you'd have a red light, so that can be ruled out) or the road he was coming from was a one way (and since you were facing him, that can be ruled out too.)

I have to deal with this every day at Village Dr. and the Southfield Fwy. Service Dr. in Dearborn, MI.

you have the right away because you are closer to where you are turning. If you where making a left and that person was making a right then he would have the right away. its all common sense next time give him the old California wave lol.

Driving is all about getting yourself, your passengers, and your car to your destination undamaged. The fact that you are worried about all this to the extent that you will write an essay here is proof that you are holding on to your anger and you are jacking your stress level, heart rate and blood pressure well beyond normal levels. I drive 60 miles a day commuting, and I have adopted a Zen-like focus toward driving. You must do likewise. Don't hang on to this stuff. If someone turns in front of you, take the minimum action required to avoid a crash, and do it with no emotion. Don't worry about how other people drive. Focus on your driving. You will arrive much less stressed. This is what I have done, and I feel much better about it. Retaliating, road rage, flip-offs, yelling, and other negative reactions can get you hurt, and they reduce you to the level of the person you think did you wrong. It also doubles the number of irate drivers on the road, because if one person is irate and another responds in kind, then there's two of you. I know this is not how you want to live. Don't let this person's actions define the rest of your day. Or your life. Please. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

you had the right of way since the other driver needed to cross a line of travel as well. BUT if you both were turning onto a 4 lane roadway (2 lanes each direction) you both can turn at the same time but not cross over the lane closest to you.

Really no one has the right away it is given, but we as drivers have an unspoken agreement on turns he should have let you go through, as long as it was one lane or if two you both should have turned into the lanes closest to your turn. That way more than one car can turn at once...
People don't always just turn into the respected lane so you can have angry people when they don't get their way.
