Which vechicle is safer?

2004 Lexus LS430 or 2004 Acura MDX? I live in Minnesota and would drive the vehicle year-round, occassionally hauling around my 5-person family. Thanks for input.

Lexus tend to have more advanced and safer safety features such as radar warning, esp, abs, ebd, front/side and knee airbags.

Check the "Insurance Institute for Highway Safety". IIHS in Virginia those guys are not funded by the manufactures so they are very unbiased. They actually buy cars off of dealers lot's and crash them.

Get a Crown Victoria. You'll get better gas mileage, better service and more room in the car. The car is better for the money because it will far outlast either Lexus or Acura in the long run. The resale is much better, too.

The 2004 Lexus LS430 would be a safer and wiser choice overall.
