Overall I think it is the aggressive driver of any age that is the most dangerous on the road, especially when related to those people who are neither taxed or insured. |

Actually, illegal drivers are usually the most careful, because they have the most to lose if they get caught.
My answer isn't one of your ten, it's actually one some police friends told me. The worst driver is: A woman in a minivan using a cell phone with kids in back. Hands down. |

You forgot the people who drive with their face touching the glass.
And also the high beamers/fog lighters.
The elderly are pretty bad. They don't know how to use their mirrors properly and dont indicate.
Fender Benders annoy the crap out of me though. if ones behind me i deliberately slow down untill they try to over take me then i speed up and the they end up behind me again. And i repeat the process.
The young usually aren't too bad. Think about it, had however many hrs it is of learning from a professional. They would know the road rules better then most. But in saying that there is the small % that try to be cool and bad drivers. |

I'd say 10, 5, and 1, in that order.
Illegal drivers with no insurance or licence are the biggest menace on the roads.
I don't really have a problem with anyone who blasts past me, as they're only a nuisance for a second, and then they're away, nor do I really bother with a bumbling sunday driver, as they're usually pretty easy to overtake. |

If you take all the drivers that exhibit these traits there would clearly be a huge reduction if traffic accidents and fatalities. See second URL below. To me the numbers are truly staggering. |

My Stepfather! Elderly but drives like a boy racer, never uses mirrors or indicators! Definately ignorant, aggressive determined to get to where he is going at all cost, gone through so mant red lights i've lost count (won't get in the car with him again) and downright b####y dangerous! Don't worry if you don't live in the North- east of England you should be safe!!! |
