Who goes first on a 3 way stop sign?

I know about 4 way that whosoever comes first goes first. But I am a liitle bit confused about the 3 way? Is it right that 3 way and 4 way are similar.

You need to check with the local auto department, or call the police (the NOT emergency number) to be sure as it might vary in your country.
But usually, in countries that you drive on the right side, if more than one person arrives at an intersection, the person on the right (your right) would have the "right of way".
Face to face? then the person that would not be turning would have it.
But the odds that all 3 or 4 arriving at the same time are very slim, and at that point, it's a question of whoever is not turning, and if no one is, then whoever starts moving first. If you choose to be that person, then go slowly until it is clear for everyone that you have taken the initiative to be the first. |

But if it happens that maybe two cars came to the stop at
the same time, the car on the right would go first. |

As with any stop sign situation, whoever gets there first, goes first. BUT, don't assume that you have the right-of-way even if you do. If you are not sure, wave the others through first. Takes 5 seconds. Most drivers work together and go in sequence by being courteous with each other. The best way. |

yeah, it's basically the same. there is one rule that i live by though, if the other vehicle is bigger, they have the right of way all day everyday! lol |
