Who picks up the dead animals on the side of freeway?

How do the animals get to the side of the freeway anyway? And do the people who clean up the dead animals have a special job title? Is that a full time job? How much do they make?

Usually county or city workers; it isn't a job unto itself, it is part of the job for county workers. Animals don't always make it to the side; those that do fall there or drag themselves before they die.

The animals get to the side of the road from being hit with cars,and if you live in Pennsylvania nobody picks them up,they are left to rot.

here in michigan the county road crews drive along the road with a snow plow truck at about 60 mph drop the blade and blow the critters off into the brush or ditch or whatever...no one "picks " them up...

Animal control picks them up. Unless the hunrgy poor people get to them first.

Your local county will pick it up animal control will come out and pick it up, deer also, hope this helps.

My wife ues to pick 'em up for one of the college science courses she was taking. It was either mammalogy or field ecology I dont recall.

the animals get there by walking there and getting smacked by a car. i pick em up for dinner

Usually picked up by the local government. They have people that fix up roads and such.
