Why are some drivers so rude?
Find answers to your legal question.

Why are some drivers so rude?

When someone pulled out in front of me this morning, casuing me to almost crash into them, I beeped my horn. She then stuck her fingers up at me, even though she was in the wrong!!

Why is this?

Some people always assume they are right whether they are right or wrong. When that happens to me, I usually give a big smile & wave. Confuses the small minded person.

Tut tut, women drivers ... oh dear. lol

Because, my dear, they think that they are safe in their tin box on wheels.

First priority, all drivers should pass
the "Attitude Test" before applying
their driving licenses.

Dumbs can drive better than idiots.
Smarts (with high income) don't drive.
So, stay away from idiots on the road.

lol

jsv59
because she is an ill mannered *****

dirtyminx82
Because we are in a hurry, and your bloody tiny little 1 litre cars get in our way when we are on our way to work and we don't want to get stuck behind you while you lala to Capital radio and apply your makeup on the way to work....

Little Rip
cos you cant drive

For some reason, when people get behind a car wheel they feel cocooned in a world of their own especially if there are no passengers. Other may drive aggressively because they DO have passenger sand they're trying to show off.

What you are seeing is an extension of the person's true identity which they often suppress when out of a vehicle.

That's a brief version of my knowledge in this area.

Perhaps she was a foreigner driving under British registration & it was her way of saying sorry or hello in her language. cheer up.

englishkeymaster
So you've met her at number 42 aswell lol.

No seriously, some drivers are idiots. As are some people (whether driver or not).

I wish they'd all just go away and live on their own chavvy island but I can't see that happening.

My sympathies, just try and ingore it. You're the better person and you know it.

I apologise to you on behalf of my mother. She's bloody useless behind the wheel.

Because people feel protected inside their cars and therefore think they can get away with anything.
The funny thing is, when you realise that they are going to the same supermarket as you, and you end up parking right by them, and you say "excuse me, why did you cut me up and then stick your fingers up?" they deny it ever happened, try to say that you were in the wrong, or just say "**** off". Never "Sorry".

People in general seem to be becoming more arrogant, greedy and rude. Not sure why, but driving brings out the worst in people.

Take deep breaths and count to 10!

Lots of people get more than usually aggressive behind the wheel of a car, sadly. Quite often when someone does something wrong, like cutting you up, and you beep or flash deep down they are embarrassed at being caught out and so cover that up with aggression. Pathetic.

frog
because some people (who are also drivers) are rude

some people are just @SS ween they drive they act like there the only ones on the road. u can get the tag number and report them for reckless driving. but that about all u can do

Sadly, a lot of drivers, and I guess people in general, are totally imerst in their own self importance. They have no sense of common sense or cortesy. They want what they want, and don't give a darn who they may inconvenience. They are #1 and thats all they care about.

because some people have no appreciation for others. dont blame yourself, its simply there natural personality. They cant deal with certain things so they take it out on others.

Baz94
Driving brings out the worst in people but the driver you mentioned may not hadve road rage.
She may have just broken up with someone, had a relative pass away, been burgled, been underpaid by a high amount etc.
Sometimes it ISN'T the road rage, sometimes people have problems and become aggressive because of their problems.
Other times it is the fact that many drivers adopt the "every man for himself" attitude and think they own the road.
The fanal idea may be that the woman you are referring to is just a plain rude cow that needs her car to be keyed up ;)

Many drivers (though they wont admit it) suffer from ROAD RAGE. The stress of driving concentration makes them short tempered. If you try to explain to someone that they were in the wrong they're liable to bop you one, even though they know in their heart they were wrong. As long as you don't have an accident, it is better to ignore them rather than giving them the 'V' sign.
