Why are women drivers SO BAD at parking?

Women's and men's brains have certain differences... women's spatial awareness is one of these, making most women not as good as most men at parking. My parking is awful and my boyfriend's is so brilliant I get a bit jealous lol... but I'm WAAAAAY better at actual driving... he's too overconfident sometimes and he speeds most of the time

Hey lol i agree and you want to know something IM FEMALE DRIVER-lol i say this in joke and the men will know whats seriouse i say and jokingly so women dont take this personall, but my lord god why they pass the test is beyond me-for parking i could get a double decker bus into some of the places they avoid and leave themselves half in or out the road or otherwise park somewhere easier and walk lol.
I agree with you, most women i quess most, have so much problems on the road i dont see if its this bad why they dont get the thing attached to your car and bleeps when too close to to other veichles-but there you go lol. Have you met the ones who believe there always in the right---even going up the dual carriageway the wrong way hahaha mad- frightens life outa me, but men get into more accidents dont they-anyway as i said im women driver but i drove since 11years old and by time come to get my lessons they gave me 2 as i had few bad habbits but i learned from my father and noone who he learned ever failed there test, he taught me i had 2 lessons passed first time and im the most women-MAN driver theres got to be i dont drive like to drive all gentle and slow on roads because its more dangerous than speeding half time as other driver get pissed off try overtake and they land up off the road. a women.....and so do men, make the road dangerouse theese days all be carefull man or women but especially the ones over 70 yrs lol- take care just thought id say im sound-cool driver always love to drive as get to forget your other worries as you need it 110% on the roads to watch for others.xx Jay-Jay from Scotland ...

Because talking on the cell phone, putting on make up and eating at the same time will botch women drivers till the end of time.

sadly i have to agree - women are usually worse at parking.
im a bit rubbish at parking but im a very good driver...and in reply to "ascoile" who said women hog the lane and cant read the roads....both men and women are guilty of that!! i see PLENTY of men driving badly too!! drives me mad.

Yes women tend to be worse at parking but I do think they take less risks than us blokes. Blokes tend to take more risks.
I'm a bloke myself, I'd rather be safer at junctions and take a few more attempts to park.

Because they only learned the basics to pass a test.

Passing the test and being a good driver are two different things.

Parking is not the only thing they can't do, look and see how many of them hog the middle lane because they haven't learned how to read the road or adjust their speed.

Excuse me? I was up Asda on Friday morning and a BLOKE had parked so badly, they had to get him out the shop and move his car because he had managed to bung both cars in either side of him. I can park just fine, thank you and reverse park is one of my best manouveres.

Im female and most bad drivers ive seen are all men. It depends on who taught you and how well they did at it and we all learn the same things when doing driving tests. Men should get over themselves, they're human too. I drive and ive never had a problem parking before and ive never had an accident and im on my P's, so, your gender makes no difference. The person that wrote this question should grow up and think of something more original for a question.

The majority of men can't multitask, so that equals it out.

I can reverse in to parking spaces and parallel park well. I was a delivery driver for 3 years and often had to do this.

not just women are guilty of this, l've seen some blunders by men that equal any mistakes by women

because male drivers tell them that they are 6 inches from the kerb when they are actually 2 inches!! Get it- its a size thing!!!

Maybe it's just the ones that you see when you're stood there watching and criticizing and puffing up your ego that are bad a parking because they're made to feel uncomfortable by your bullying.
