I signal every turn and lane change but I also drive a truck for a living and am more required to even though it is a law to signal.

people are not conditioned properly in the use of a motor vehicle. and yeah when they signal after they get in a turning lane well duh! signal your intentions not your actions.

I figured it out. Their signals don't work, but if you will just honk at them they will let you know which way they are turning by holding up one finger of either their right or left hand.

they turn it on after they have made their turn. Then drive for several miles with it flashing with no intentions of turning again

It's as simple as figuring out that there their and they're are NOT the same word.

The best was last week when I had someone signal in the opposite direction that they turned. They signaled left, turned right... almost created a sweet accident.

Maybe they figure using it too much will cause the bulbs to burn out early. Have to make sure they work if the car is called for a spot safety check, right? LOLOL!!
