yes. I did that before.. when I was in my old job.
normally it took me 1 1/2 on the road.. so I put a lot of snack and coffee or water in my car....just killing the time for the traffic..BTW, I kept my car clean all the time.. smile..
but I dont eat on my car anymore. cuz its closer to work now... smile. |

well, alot of people are on the go alot and they are busy going to work and stuff, at some place like mcdonalds, you will see a long line of cars at the drive in, people LOVE fast food! I HATE FAST FOOD! write back! |

Ya know, I used to eat in the car when I was younger. Sometimes I eat piece of toast on the way to work --rarely. I don't like the crumbs in my car, but my hungry stomach makes me do things. = ) |

What with the cell phone going off, the electric shaver, the cup of coffee, the laptop begging for attention, the newspaper on my lap and the crackberry who has time to eat? I have to concentrate on my driving. There's only so much one can do in bumper to bumper traffic at 70 MPH on 4 hours sleep. Cut me some freakin' slack here! Thanks, but I'll just pop a few of these beans and I'm good to go. |

Many do it because they feel it is convenient. Eating in the car isn't a good idea and it can be dangerous. But it seems that if you are hungry and you have food in your car, its so simple to just eat it while driving. What is so dangerous about it is that you can easily lose control of your vehicle. Also the fact is, many would rather eat on the go rather than take time out of their schedule to do it before they drive. For example, instead of making yourself late for work, it may seem more convenient to eat while driving. That way you won't be late and you were still able to have breakfast and be ready for your day. Its a quick way of doing things but its not the safest thing to do. |
