Every group has their cool thing to do. Some like to install devices so their car will bounce 6' of the ground. Some like to put gigantic wheels on their car that make it look like a monster truck. Others like to build their engines with turbos or superchargers for mega-horsepower.

because its better off road. the bigger suspension and higher clearence means that if they go off road, they wont damage the underbody. they also do this so you can put on bigger tires which will provide more grip on rocks and mud. |

So they can drive over anything smaller that gets in their way, including you. Plus, the view is better. They can look down on everyone else. And it helps onceal any bald spots. Also, they can park a Mini Cooper underneath it and have two parking spaces for the price of one--very handy in the city, especially if they put a camper on back and call it home. |
