That makes me crazy. But usually, they are in a bigger truck, and the lights are coming right up to your face, instead of low, like a car's headlights. They just seem brighter, but usually they are no brighter than normal headlights.
The reason I think they do it is, for one they seem closer because of their size, but also you feel safer in a large vehicle and you dont feel as close

I can answer that in just four little words: THEY HAVE NO RESPECT! I LOATHE it when people do that to me! Even if you move your rear view mirror to cut down on the glare-it still 'gets you' in the side mirror. YES, I'm doing the speed limit -sometimes 5 miles over and YES theres room in the OTHER lane aka FAST LANE for them to move over and GO!! That's all I'm saying about that! GRRRRRRRRRRRR! |

Honestly I have no clue why people follow so closely.... My sister does it all the time and I wanna smack the holy hell outta her!! The headlights, alot of the newer cars come with VERY bright lights. I just bought an 06 Focus and I am constantly having people flasing ther lights at me, apparently they think I have my brights on. I went out and bought Sylvania Silver Star Ultras a couple days ago.... I think you may be able to give someone an instant tan with those things... and when I flash my brights... OH MY GOD!!! THEY'RE BRIGHT!!! |

First is just stupidity....................The second is the inspection stations are to damn lazy to adjust the head lights like they are compelled to do by inspection guide lines. And, to compound matters, the police are to damned lazy to ticket these cars... And it is dangerous.... |

Cattle syndrome. We stand in so many lines playing follow the leader that it spills over in our every day life no matter what we do. As for the lights they are to help us see better or to look cooler or to just piss you off the choice is yours. |

I always hit my brakes and slow down even more. Really pisses them off and when they finally decide to pass I flip them off while blowing my horn. Makes me feel better anyway! |
