Why do so many young men think it is macho to drive fast?

i think that they are so wortless in any fields that they want to prove how omnipotent they are on the roads,they are one of the reasons i stopped driving,they are murderers,their driving licenced should be revoked for a life time.

On a stretch of road near me there has been numerous young lads die due to excessive speed. They dont learn, they think they can handle the speed but are not trained to so dont. Im sorry about your dad. What a waste of a life.

We don't think it's macho, we are in a hurry. Sorry about your dad, my friends dad was killed by an old man driving 40 mph on an interstate coming home from church. Just an example on how driving too slow can kill too. I was nearly killed by a young girl applying make up and talking on her cell phone. 175 grand later I have a metal plate in my head thanks to a 24 yr old girl who didn't know when to shut the hell up and hang up the phone. And I was stopped for a red light when she didnt even brake when she rearended me. Hell, the investigating officer had to tell her to hang up even. We all have stories and the stats I read are most people killed in accidents are thanks to dumbasses drinking and driving, men and women alike. Also parents who want to buy thier 17 year old a Camaro with a big block V8 engine, and don't really know how to drive is a huge factor on young deaths. My kids first car is going to be a crappy Escort until he/she knows how to drive. There is so many ways to die on the rd.

I guess it is the same reason girls think their front bumper should be 3 inches away from the rear bumper on the car in front of them when driving 70 mph.

Or maybe the guys are trying to keep the correct distance from the girls tailgating.
