There is NO REASON to NOT use your turn signal when changing lanes or turning.
-It requires less effort than scratching your nose
-It helps to prevent accidents by warning others of your intention.
Why do a**holes fail to signal?
There is NO EXCUSE.
It's easy and it will save lives.

Actually in some states it is now the law. I know that Florida passed it in 2005, it has always been the law to use it to turn but as far as changing lanes it was just a courtesy. I think all states should have this law, I have personally found that police and school bus drivers are some of the worst about not using there signals. I began keeping a list of all city and county police car numbers that I see not using their signal back in 2005 - I am currently at 348 different car numbers. I sent the list to a local newspaper but they did not do anything with it, I may call the local TV news about it. |

obviously they are talking on their cell phone or applying make-up or popping a zit. Ive seen all this kind of stuff in Washington DC area, anyone from that area knows what I mean. |

I'm so on your side about this issue! I think they're just living dangerously and hoping we'll crash into the back of them when we think they're going one way and they end up going another. And don't get me started about the people who flick trash out the windows.... aack! |

a turn signal is a good thing to use whenever you need to change lanes or make a turn. Sometimes when you use your signal it triggers a response in other drivers to close the gap and not let you into the lane. Maybe they think they're in a race and they don't want to be lapped. |

Well I think that it is because they just dont think about it, or they are inconsiderate. I know what you mean though, I hate people that dont use their signals too. Especially when they are entering the freeway or changing lanes.
Just keep being a good driver and hopefully others will follow by example. |
