Why do some drivers think that just becuz they R driving the speed limit that they can stay in the left lane?

I hate this. What these narrow minded people don't realize is that on Interstates, 90% of drivers drive 7 - 10 mph over the speed limit. But they don't care, they insist on being narrow minded and selfish. HELLO, leave the left lane open for drivers that have SNAP IN THEIR STEP(unlike you)

I am completely feeling you on this one.... Get this, I have actually scene them move from the left lane to let someone get by and then move back into the fast lane...HELLO, stay in the damn slow lane you idiot!! lol

In some states its legal to stay in the left lane.. no matter what your speed is. Its the dumbest rule ever. I live up here in idaho and there are several people who will leave their cruise on a mile or two over the speed limit and slowly pass the car on the right.. Its really annoying, but that's idaho drivers. My husband and I just sit there and shake our heads at the stupid people who can't drive or drive very dangerously. But yeah.. I really hate it when someone just sits in the left lane at the speed limit. (Had an old roommate that would do that. Killed me to drive in the car with her)

I leave the left lane open, makes the cop's job easier when they want to catch the speeders. Besides letting that person going 10 mph over the limit pass me lowers my chances of being pulled over for only going about 5 over.

I agree. Some people (obviously, not these people) think that the left lane is called the "High Speed Lane". It's not. It's the "Passing Lane", so if you're not passing somebody, move to the right.

Many times it can be bothersome. I believe they do it because they don't understand that the left lane is for passing and it is "not" the slow lane. It is the fast lane and it should be driven correctly. Drivers don't pay attention and they don't care about the rules of the road and how they affect others around them. It would help if some drivers went back to Driver's ed to be re-educated on this. But sadly, that is just one issue that takes place. There are a whole host of other issues that need addressing. But I agree with you, it is frustrating especially when you want to drive just a bit faster.

i totally dig this question or ranting! trust me. sometimes i so wanna tail gate them specially if im on a crunch time. grrrr! makes me so freaking mad!

Oh that pisses me off SO much!!! They will stay there and not move over even though there are signs that say "slower traffic keep right"! I really wish sometimes I had a fully loaded Peterbuilt and ram it right up there A** to get them where they belong!
