So you can feel which button is which without having to look down while driving! Not for blind drivers.

It's not Braille as such. The markings are so that you can identify which button is which when you are driving in the dark...simple really!

SO A BLIND MAN CAN DRIVE IT. I AM A BLINDMAN AND I DRIVE ALL THE TIME. I SELL WINDOW BLINDS. LOL

The same reason the seat belt fits like a straight jacket. Because when your driving, there's a loose nut behind the wheel.

That does seem silly at first. Maybe are two reasons for this "brail".

Many people have poor close-up vision, which isn't needed for driving, but might have difficulty in reading in-cabin labels, especially in lower light levels.

For regularly-sighted people, so they can feel the control at night or without taking their eyes off the road.

Of course, after you're used to the controls and where they are, you don't really need the labels/brail, but it's nice to have them there for confirmation.
