Regardless of the situation, whether your the type of person who doesn't care or you do, you will look every time there is an accident because it is human nature. If you are in a crowded subway station and you hear a bunch of commotion, will you mind your business? or will you try to find out whats going on to ensure your safety and find out if its anybody you know that is hurt? you tell me.

It's a human trait to be nosy. There is some voyeuristic trait in all of us. That's why reality shows click.

patclem2
curiousity, human nature

gimpalomg
It is genetic. A large part of any race audience is there to see a wreck, Most don't or won't acknowledge it but subconsciously that is the reason.

It's a world-wide phenomenon called S.H.C (silly human curiousity), people afflicted with such a nasty incurable disease can be easily diagnosed by the yellow faces.

It's human nature: we're both fascinated and repelled by gory stuff that happens to somebody else.

mopargrapeape
Pure nosiness.

reality show. better than movies

just asking
We aren't nosy, we just want to find out how bad the accident was.

BeAuTiFuL
people are nosy, they wanna see whats going on.

2HOT2HOLD
Nowadays very few people do this, because they dont want to care about what's happened to another human being. People have become so in-sensitive.
