They do have doors, the drivers Must be seat belted in when driving, it saves time not having to open doors at every stop. So they drive with the door open. Also, the trucks do not have air conditioning so it keeps them somewhat cooler in the summer in hot climates |

They do have doors. They are sliding doors that when open are not visible. The reason they leave them open most of the time is because they are "hopping" around and it gets real hot inside those things. So unless they get up on the highway most drivers keep them open and no its not dangerous if you buckle up. |

lol it doesn't have anything to do with nice weather. my sisnlaw worked for ups for years. she said its b/c its easier to get in and out of so many times. Its why most police officers don't wear seat belts sometimes. It just makes it easier on so many stops.
she said UPS not post office lol |

I'm pretty sure they do but they slide back rather than open outward like a traditional car door.
They're in and out of their trucks so much, it's just easier to leave them open. =) |

they actually have doors, but usually leave them open because it is faster to get in and out. when it is really cold in the winter, i've seen them closed. |

They do, it's just that they don't have A/C so they drive with the doors open, but in the winter you will see that they close the doors. |

The trucks doors, but they're usually rolled back. The drivers keep the door open because they hustle! Have you ever seen a UPS delivery-person being lazy? |

They have doors, they slide open/closed. They don't swing to the outside like on a car. |

they have doors, but in nice weather they leave them locked open. Thye do this to enjoy the weather, and because it saves them time having to get in and out of the truck. UPS drivers do not have set hours. they run until all packages are delivered off the truck. So the faster they go, the sooner they get to go home. |

to improve delivery speed. without the doors, the UPS guy can just throw the package onto your door mat. |

It's so they can get in and out of the truck quickly while they are carrying packages. It's not that unsafe if they wear their seat belt. I was a driver helper over the holidays and it was crazy. If I hadn't worn my seat belt i would have definitely fallen out. |
