I WORK IN HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AS A TRAFFIC CONTROLLER AND USEING A TURNING SIGNAL TELLS ME WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. ITS SAFE HAVEN OUT THERE WHEN OTHERS KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO TURN LEFT OR RIGHT OR JUST GO STRAIGHT AHEAD.

It started with kindergarten.. Old habits die hard...
People that don't signal just are either preoccupied with other stuff in their minds that they even forgot they are driving.
It's just sloppy habits... I also wonder why they can ash their cigarretes periodically but not to signal.. It is just habit.. a good friend or the worst enemy. |

People who over-use their turn signals are just as annoying, though. Especially people who indicate 30 seconds or even a minute before they turn--yes, I KNOW you're turning!
The absolute worst, though, are people who leave their indicator on long after they've made a turn. And it just keeps blinking... and... blinking... and blinking... and blinking... and blinking... |
